Living next to train tracks has its own rhythm. The distant rumble of engines, the clattering of wheels over rails, and the occasional blast of a horn become the backdrop to everyday life. For me, these sounds are not just background noise; they're a constant reminder of the industry I work in—freight and intermodal shipments.

The other day, as I glanced out my window, I noticed something unusual: containers, stacked high and colorful, parked right outside my place. It was a stark departure from the usual scenery of passing trains.
In the foreground stood my faithful pug, Ladybug, a loyal presence in my life. And behind her, against the backdrop of towering containers, it was a moment frozen in time—a snapshot of the intersection between my personal life and my professional endeavors. This moment also serves as a constant reminder of the interconnectedness of industries and communities, where every train represents goods moving across the country.
Living next to the tracks has its challenges, to be sure. The noise can be disruptive, and the occasional delays can be frustrating. But it's also a constant source of inspiration—a reminder of the bigger picture and the vital role that freight plays in our everyday lives.
